COVID-19 UPDATE

Coronvirus, COVID-19 precautions:
Here at Scheumann Dental Associates were are closely monitoring the situation and following all updates and recommendations from the CDC, ADA, and IDA. As of now, we will be seeing and serving our patients as normal. As we always have, we will continue to follow and put into practice normal OSHA (universal) precautions. These have always been sufficient and reliable in protecting both patients and providers.
During the next few weeks we will be avoiding unnecessary contact (i.e. hand shaking) with our patients. We have removed all magazines, books, etc from our reception area. We ask that any patient who travels internationally be medically cleared before they seek dental treatment at our office. We have hand sanitizer set up in our entry way for you to use prior to entering the office and upon exiting the office. We ask that all patients coming and going from the office use the hand sanitizer. This is for everyone’s protection.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. This is a constantly changing situation and we at Scheumann Dental are doing our best to stay abreast of all local and federal health care recommendations. We will continue to add to our list of efforts we are making to protect our patients and ourselves as information evolves.
Patients seeking care at our office who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 should immediately inform the office. We will reschedule your appointment until you are medically cleared by a physician.
Patients seeking care suspected of having COVID-19 or having come in contact with someone suspected should be immediately rescheduled.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us: 260-925-2812. We are here to help during these times.
