Exciting updates are happening at our office!
As many of you already know, we’ve recently updated and improved our approach to your routine hygiene visits. We are so excited to offer the AirFlow One Polishers using the PLUS powder at every hygiene appointment. This allows us to really attack and blast away the biofilm more efficiently than we could before. The powder being used is anti-cariogenic, anti-bacterial, and an antioxidant! So many great benefits!
We have also updated our method for taking radiographs. We have been using digital but now it’s digital where the image immediately pops up on the screen. The film is rounded as well. So improved comfort and quicker! And because it’s digital, the radiation dose is VERY low, 0.001mSv per xray! (Flight from NYC to LA is 0.04mSv)

At the end of this month, we are updating our software! With the software update, we will also be updating our patient communication platform. This will allow us to be more efficient, provide better care, and maintain maximum safety of all our health records. This will require us to close our office from September 28th until 1:00pm on October 3rd while we switch over. Once we go live with the new software and communication platform, we ask for patience as we learn the software and update everyone’s charts. This will require some help from you, our patients. We will be asking you to re-fill out all your forms within the new software. You will be receiving an email and/or text asking you to join in the new communication platform and create an online chart for our software. From here, it will be easier for you to update your forms prior to appointments and communicate with us regarding any other treatment needs. Change is never easy but it does bring about greatness and we are excited to continue to strive to provide competent, top notch care to all of our patients. Thank you for your patience during this transition!
